The complete Linux Certification Toolkit is a self-paced, multimedia learning experience that will help you
1) Become comfortable with Linux,
2) Guide you through the topics necessary to achieve certification and
3) Provide you with the preparation materials to pass the LPI Level 1 Certification exams.
The LPI Level 1 Certification is developed by the Linux Professional Institute (LPI) to measure vendor-neutral Linux knowledge and skills. Candidates are required to pass two exams that cover the fundamental system administration activities that are common across all Linux operating systems.
Students taking these courses will learn the fundamentals of the Linux operating system using many different learning methodologies for each major topic of the LPI certification exams. Included are fourteen professionally recorded Audio/Visual presentations, a comprehensive color-coded manual closely following LPI objectives, hands-on exercises and desktop simulations on each LPI objective, numerous opportunities for self-study and practice within each module, hundreds of review and practice questions and various study aids including flash cards and an 8 page command-reference guide.
The primary audience for this course are those network engineers, or students studying to become network professionals, who desire to upgrade their skills to include Linux Certification.
