Under the Dignity for All Students Act (DASA), preparation is needed so that anyone applying for administrative or supervisory service, classroom teaching service, or school service certificate or license on or after January 1, 2014, shall have completed at least six clock hours of coursework or training in Harassment, Bullying, and Discrimination Prevention and Intervention.
This DASA workshop is being offered fully online, asynchronously. Proof of completion certificates are electronically submitted to the New York State Education Department and added to the participant's TEACH account when all sections are completed.
Registration to the workshop is open to the public and Binghamton University students as well. If you are currently enrolled as a Binghamton University student, please use your BU email when registering for the workshop. You will gain access to the content through Brightspace within a few days after registering. All others will receive an email with login and password information to access the workshop by the 15th or 30th of the month (or the closest business day).
If you have any trouble accessing information or need assistance with this workshop, please contact Tracy Lyman, Workshop Coordinator at dasa@binghamton.edu.
