School Violence Prevention and Intervention (Project SAVE)(2023400)

All individuals applying for a teaching certificate are required to complete two clock hours of coursework or training in school violence prevention and intervention in accordance with section 3004 of the Education Law of the state of New York.

The Project SAVE workshop is being offered fully online, asynchronously. The online content is presented in three parts, with each section culminating in a quiz. Proof of completion certificates are electronically submitted to the New York State Education Department and added to the participant's TEACH account when all three sections are completed.

Registration to the workshop is open to the public and Binghamton University students as well. If you are currently enrolled as a Binghamton University student, please use your BU email when registering for the workshop. You will gain access to the content through Brightspace within a few days after registering. All others will receive an email with login and password information to access the workshop by the 15th or 30th of the month (or the closest business day).

If you have any trouble accessing information or need assistance with this workshop, please contact Tracy Lyman, Workshop Coordinator at dasa@binghamton.edu.
